On Tuesday our young children learned about hatred, destruction and death. On Tuesday night, my husband and I had to explain it.
As we finished our explanations, we tried to reassure our children by telling them that our loved ones were safe.
Our deepest sympathies to those families who ended the explanations to their children in a far more tragic and sorrowful manner.
We grieve with them, and they will be forever in our thoughts and prayers.
We all lost our innocence Tuesday, but too many lost their tomorrows.
