Jane Sorge, 96, of Hilton Head Island, died July 25, 2001 at Hilton Head Medical Center and Clinics. Mrs. Sorge was born in Chicago and is the daughter of the late John and Caroline Platek Bak. She was employed by S&C Electric Company for 25 years. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Phil Parker of Hilton Head Island; three grandchildren, Jill Lanouette, Chip Feldon and Drew Feldon; and two great-grandchildren, Evan and Trevor Lanouette. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago. The Island Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
