Rowland Lee Young, 78, passed away on Aug. 14 in Glendale, AZ. Born in Galesburg, IL, he was the son of Lee Young and Doris Rowland Young. Mr. Young was a graduate of Bradley University and the University of CHicago Law School. Professionally, he worked for 31 years for the American Bar Association Journal in Chicago as an editor and writer, including the position as Associate Editor. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Army Reserve attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was also a longtime member and officer of the Board of the Malibu Condominium Association in Chicago. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 in the Church of the Atonement, 5764 N. Kenmore Ave., Chgo, IL 60660. Memorial contributions should be made to Church of the Atonement.
