Freedom of the press is marvelous. But does freedom of the press allow the TV newscasters to broadcast the whereabouts of President Bush during Tuesday’s attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington? Why was TV news on Tuesday evening allowed to broadcast the precautions Chicago was going to take on Wednesday? Doesn’t all this play into the hands of the terrorists by letting them know our plans?
