George Martin Ierland, age 88, former Loyola University coach passed away September 14, 2001 in Itasca. Preceded by his wife, Gertrude A. Ierland; survived by his son Michael P. (the late Marie) Ierland, Prairie Village, KS; daughters, Judy Van Dyck, Los Altos, CA and Kathy Schwieger, Addison, IL; two grandsons and six granddaughters; and four great-grand children. Funeral Tuesday 9:30 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., to St. Lambert’s Church in Skokie for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
