Ira Paul Rosen, 51, of Highland Park, died on September 14, 2001 while in the Hospice of the North Shore. Beloved husband of Rachel, nee Schwed; loving father of Steven and Leah; dear brother of Diane Davis; along with several nephews, nieces, cousins and aunts. Memorial services will be held on September 23, at 5 p.m. at Seguin Funeral Home in Highwood. Mr. Rosen was born and raised in New York, holding advanced degrees in psychology and philosophy. After settling in the Chicago area in the early 90’s, he found tremendous personal gratification working with the disabled. In lieu of flowers donations may be dedicated to the Hospice of the North Shore or the Kellogg Cancer Center of Evanston Hospital.
