Lt. Col. Leslie A. Towers, US Army Retired, Vet WWII, former Chicago resident, died in San Diego Sept. 7, 2001, loving stepfather of Helen J. Towers and E. Allen Towers; dear grandfather of Nicole P. Touchette; and greatgrandfather of Madison and Noah Touchette; fond brother of Violet Kerlin and Margaret Brustman; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Interment Oct. 1, 2001 at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
