When the Clinton administration declared a war on terrorism, one of the results was beefed up security at airports. One of those so-called security improvements was the addition of two ridiculous questions about the packing of one’s bags and if they had been in your possession at all times.
As we review this tragedy, please let us do more than come up with changes on the surface to make folks feel good. I can only assume those animals from Tuesday morning answered those security questions appropriately. That was security at its worst.
