Robert James “Bob” Roche, 79, died Sept. 10, 2001. Formerly of Park Forest, IL, Bob was a disabled veteran of World War II. He worked at the Star Sun Times Newspaper in Chicago Heights, IL for 30 years before moving to Virginia Beach, VA, to be closer to his family. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mildred J. Roche; his loving daughters Diane Roche and Judy Brown (James); two wonderful grandchildren, Lisa Brown and Lauren Sherwood (Jeff); and his devoted brother William Roche (Dolores) of Arlington Heights, IL and their children. Services have been held.
