Eleanor P. Cichy, nee Oleszko, age 76, of Braidwood, IL, passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2001 at her home. Born Jan. 14, 1925 in Chicago, IL to the late Anthony and Camilla, nee Bojnarowski, Oleszko. She enjoyed gardening, bingo and her grandchildren in her leisure. Survived by her husband, Stanley, whom she married Sept. 9, 1950 in Chicago; three sons, Anthony (Clarice DiPietrantonio) Oleszko of Plainfield, IL, Daniel Cichy of Morris, IL and James (Jennifer) Cichy of Braidwood, two daughters, Nancy (Lee) Todd of Soldotna, AK and Patricia (James) Loveland of Braidwood; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother Joseph Oleszko of Naperville; sister-in-lawLottie Hudziak of Braidwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Szybist and Anna Kasprzak, an infant brother; and several other relatives. Funeral services from the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel, Monday, Sept. 24, at 9:30 a.m. to the Immaculate Conception Church in Braidwood for Mass at 10 a.m. with Rev. Steve Bondi officiating.
