Louis S. Kopinski, age 76, suddenly, resident of Elmhurst for over 50 years, and New Port Richie, FL, graduate of Campion High School, Xavier University, Navy Veteran of WWII, former employee of John E. Fast Co. and Fort Dearborn Paper Company, past President of Midwest Manufacturers Association, longtime member of River Forest Country Club, Elmhurst and Cypress Run Country Club, FL, beloved husband of Muriel, nee Scholle; devoted father of Kent, D.D.S. (Nancy), Neil (Myra), John, James (Sharon), Jane (Dennis) Byrd and Laura (Michael, M.D.) Chapman; grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of two. Louis will be remembered by all that knew him for his kindness and humor with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 134 West Arthur Street, Elmhurst.
