Theodore F. Olson, 94, of Punta Gorda, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001 at Charlotte Regional Medical Center. He was born December 20, 1906 in Pepin, WI and moved here in 1971 from the Chicago, IL area. While in Chicago, he was the Regional Director of the Census Bureau. He was drafted at age 31 by the U.S. Air Force as a Captain serving in World War II and became a statistician to the generals. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday (today) at 11 a.m. at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 5200 Indian Springs Rd., Punta Gorda. Burial will follow in Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, FL.
