Rose Sever, 88, a homemaker from Glen Ellyn, died Monday, Sept. 17, in Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. Mrs. Sever came to America from Slovenia as a teenager and for all but the last 15 years lived on Chicago’s South Side. She was a member of St. Petronille Parish in Glen Ellyn. Survivors include a son, John; two daughters, Irene Schroeder and Ruth Moore; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday in Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton. Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with mass at 10 a.m. in St. Petronille Catholic Church, 420 Glenwood Ave., Glen Ellyn.
