Marjorie Estelle Anderson, nee Benson, 93, of Batavia, IL, formerly of Palatine, IL, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001 at Michealsen Health Center, The Holmstad, Batavia, IL, beloved wife of the late Jasper Howard Anderson; loving mother of James Howard (Judith) Anderson and Robert Charles (Darlene) Anderson and the late Barbara Ann Anderson; proud grandmother of Bruce Howard (Sherri) Anderson and Ryan Hobus; and great-grandmother of Samuel Howard Anderson. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2001 at the Turner Funeral Home, 13160 W. Rt. 34, Somonauk, IL 815-498-2363. Burial will be in Leland Cemetery, Leland, IL. Visitation will be from 10 a.m., Monday until time of services in the funeral home. Marjorie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Nels and Maude (Wood) Benson, her husband Jasper Anderson, 1985, one daughter, Barbara in infancy, her sister Helen Benson Williams and her brothers, Raymond and Glen Benson.
