Through fun educational activities, the Young Scientists Club seeks to supplement the education younger children receive in school and create a fascination with science.
Children in the club receive a complete science kit on a regular basis-there are monthly and semi-monthly subscriptions. Each $10.99 kit contains several experiments and builds upon lessons from previous experiments while introducing new concepts for future use.
The experiments usually take about one hour to complete, except in the case of long-term projects such as growing beans and measuring rainfall. Topics covered are as diverse as batteries and fossils or the human body and volcanoes.
