Joan I. Kober, nee DeMaso, age 69, formerly of Chicago Ridge and late of Hudson Lake, IN, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, cherished wife of the late Norbert John Kober Sr.; devoted mother of Norbert John Kober Jr. and Theresa (Jerry) Jordan; loving sister of Dolores (late Philip) Vock, John (Bernadette) DeMaso, Rita (George) Schreiber and Marilyn (Joseph) Blackwell; dearest grandmother of Kimberly, Scott, Lauren and Melissa; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Monday, Sept. 24, 2001 at 9 a.m. from Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero, Oak Lawn, to Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
