Sam Kovatchis, age 73, formerly from Yianahori-Kastoria, Greece, beloved husband of Irene, nee Agos; devoted father of Maria (Peter) Spanos and Jane (Nick) Nicholson; dearest Papouli of George and Soteria Nicholson; loving brother to Paul (Vaso), Dina (George) Lygatsikas, Kula (the late Jim) Farsalas, the late Evdoxia (the late Bill) Kounelas and the late George (Voula) Kovatsis; dear brother-in-law of Stella (the late Andy) Sarros, Gloria (Sam) Pishos and Mary (the late Pete) Simos; fond uncle and cousin to many here and in Greece.
