We have had a lot of talk about heroes over the past week, and every one mentioned so far deserves it. But we have overlooked a key group of individuals. I think we should also thank the hundreds of air traffic controllers, pilots, flight crew members and airport personnel who were able to safely divert and land the many planes that were in the skies on the morning of Sept. 11.
