Outdated and unused computer equipment and other electronics items can be recycled Saturday in Libertyville during a collection organized for Lake County residents by the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County, along with Motorola and United Recycling Industries, Inc.
Lake County residents are asked to bring in personal computers, monitors, keyboards, hard drives, printers and other electronic equipment, including video games and joy sticks.
Office equipment such as typewriters, word processors, copiers, faxes, adding machines, scanners, calculators, shredders and telephones also will be accepted.
SWALCO already offers a number of household hazardous waste collections throughout the year. Residents may drop off their electronics items from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Motorola, 600 N. U.S. Highway 45. For more information, call SWALCO at 847-336-9340.
