Village President Jo Irmen cast two tie-breaking votes during Monday night’s Village Board meeting that will allow beautification projects in the village to move forward.
One allows a ground test beneath medians along County Line Road to determine whether planting vegetation is viable. The information would allow the village to solicit bids for beautifying the medians. Irmen also broke a tie vote to allow the village to spend an additional $1,300 to add more perennials at the North County Line Gateway.
