John S. Carey, 75, of Irvine, CA, died Sept. 23, 2001 in Santa Ana, CA. John was a retired electrician and a former resident of Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Sheila, nee Doherty, Carey; daughters, Barbara (Maurice) McTiernan, Maureen (Thomas) Carroll and Eileen Carey; sons, Kevin (Victoria), John (Lisa) and Patrick (Lisa) Carey; 10 grandchildren also survive. Viewing will be Friday from 3 to 9 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m., both at the mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, Irvine, CA.
