Mark Joseph Dienberg, of Oak Park, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 22, 2001. Mark, born on December 16, 1960 to Cliff and Lauretta, was the fourth of nine children. He was brother to Denise (Patrick) Helmers, Gayle (Bill) Love, Steve, Sue Szyzka, Clifford J. (Regina), Craig, David (Jennifer) and Laurie Dienberg (Jay) Hoppe. Mark worked at the Mercantile Exchange for over 20 years. He shared his love of the outdoors with his nieces and nephews, Michael, Tim, Kate, John, Jenny, Christopher, Cliff Jr., Taylor and Joey. He especially loved taking them fishing, for hikes in the woods and on boat rides. Mark’s life was enriched the past few years by his relationship with Peggy and her children Chloe, Cody and Kiley. Visitation Wedensday 2 to 9 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Funeral Thursday 10:15 a.m. to Ascension Church, 815 S. East Ave., Oak Park for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Wildlife Foundation or Heifer Project International are appreciated.
