Frank Ducato, 74, formerly of Chicago, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Prescott, AZ. His body was cremated at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley. A Memorial Mass for Frank “Star” Ducato will be held at St. William Church, 2600 N. Sayre Ave. (Wrightwood and Diversey), Chicago, on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, IL. Frank was born Aug. 13, 1926 in Chicago to Emanuele and Sophie, nee Bono, Ducato. He retired to Prescott, AZ in 1995, where he lived his life doing what he loved best. Surviving are his daughter, Rosemary (Tom) Groenwald of Mt. Prospect, IL; his two beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Meghan; his sister, Kay (Ed) Petruczenko of Chicago; his brothers, Nat (Joan) of Mesa, AZ and Peter (Rose) Ducato of Schaumburg, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
