Marian Stanley Talalay, age 79, of Comstock Park, MI. My time of peace has come on Monday September 24, 2001. He is survived by his children James (Marianne) Talalay of Kentwood, Robert (Deborah) Talalay of Comstock Park; his loving grandchildren Kristen, Courtney and Josh Talalay and Justin Behler; also surviving are his brother Stanley (Clair) Talalay, and children, of CA; his niece Karen (Jacob) Willems, and children, of IL; his sister-in-law Margaret Hines of OH; his nieces and nephews Edmond, Sarah and Amanda of SC, Kathleen Hines of OH, Robert (Heather) Pfordresher, and children, of FL, Donna (Anthony) Sylvestri, and children, of FL; and other family members. He is preceded in joining God in Heaven by his wife Mary Helen Talalay; parents Stanley and Mary Talalay; brother Ted Talalay; his brothers-in-law Henry Hines, Edmond A. Foran and Thomas Pfordresher; sisters-in-law Marian Talalay and Joan Pfordresher; his nephew William Hines. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Reverend Daniel De Pew as Celebrant. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet his family on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave, NE, at 3 Mile Road. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday by Sister Gean Marie Birkman O.P. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
