Luka, age 71, late of Schererville, IN, entered into eternal life Sept. 25, 2001, preceded in death by his wife Ruth; and parents George and Dessie; beloved father of James Jr. (Pam) Luka, June (Marty) Puzon, Sharon Luka, Douglas (Shannon) Luka, David Luka, Gregory (Emi) Luka; grandfather of 14; great-grandfather of three; fond brother of Fred Lamp, Donald Lamp, Rosemary Sponseller and Emily Harkins. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 8 p.m. at the Sadowski Funeral Home, 13300 S. Houston Ave., Hegewisch, IL. Chapel service Friday, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Chicago.
