The Village Board unanimously decided to draw more than $47,000 from developer David Pierson’s letter of credit, held by the village.
Pierson, who has been developing four lots along 79th Street west of County Line Road for more than two years, failed to complete all of the improvements within the allotted time period, officials said.
Trustees told Pierson two weeks ago they would take action if the improvements weren’t complete. The funds will be used to complete the work, and some will be used for maintenance, officials said.
