Bishop Joseph C. Zawistowski, 83, passed away on Sept. 22 after 53 years of service as a Priest and Bishop of the Polish National Catholic Church. Beloved husband of Josephine, nee Trelka; dear father of Rev. Charles (Susan) and Joseph T. Zawistowski, both of South Bend, IN; grandfather of Rachel, Andrew and Matthew; brother of Severina Gorzela, Carl and Theodore Zawistowski.
