Rose Anne Jacobs Kirk, 74, died Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Central DuPage Hospital, where she worked as a volunteer. Born in Steubenville, OH, a graduate of Duke University, she served her country well with several government agencies prior to her nearly 50 year marriage to Vanderveer Kirk of Wheaton. The caring mother of sons, Tucker Kirk of Edmond, OK and Jeffrey Kirk of Coppell, TX and daughter, Roxanne Hidaka of Prairie Village, KS; and grandmother to eight. Memorial Service at First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. Opportunity to meet with family and friends after the Service.
