Arthur F. Piker, age 83, of Johnsburg, served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the C.B.I. Theatre from 1942 until 1953, attaining a rank of Major. Employed by Illinois Bell in Chicago for over 35 years as an electrical engineer. Member of American Legion Bell Post in Chicago. Beloved husband of Margaret Erin Piker; devoted father of Kenneth (Mary Ann) Piker; cherished grandfather of Katie Piker; fond uncle to Carl (Jane) Moraw. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mata, nee Fanske, Piker; brothers, Carl, Albert and Gilbert; and sister, Loretta Moraw. Resting at the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, 3519 W. Elm Street, McHenry. Visitation Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001 at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg.
