Galla A. Dushkin, nee Hesser, age 90, beloved wife of the late Milton A. Dushkin, M.D.; loving mother of Tanya (Bob) Paullin and Jay Dushkin; proud grandmother of Larry (Stacey) Paullin of McLean, VA, Andrew (Nancy) Paullin, Rabbi Lisa (Kyle) Dushkin Bellows of Chicago and David Dushkin of Colorado; great-grandmother of Sally, Sam, Henry and Hannah Paullin and stepgrandchild, Kristin of Virginia; dear sister of Seema (Bill) Kaplan; and fond aunt of Judi (Mort) Markowitz and Sharon (Gordon) Alper, all of California and Dr. Richard (Nancy) Eisenstaedt of Philadelphia and Lore Eisenstaedt of Chicago. Galla and her family moved to Chicago from Des Moines, Iowa in 1951. While in Chicago, Galla was an assistant nursery school teacher at Shaare Tikvah Synagogue and was active in Hadassah and the Jewish Community Centers. Her husband, Dr. Milton A. Dushkin died in 1975. A Memorial Service was held on Sept. 25.
