Why do they hate us? Let us count the ways:
– We sell them arms, so they can kill each other.
– We don’t care that they are dying of AIDS, as long as our drug manufacturers make their profits.
– We abuse people with sub-human conditions and wages so we can have cheap clothing and profits.
– We abrogate treaties.
– We are suspicious of anyone who doesn’t look like us.
– We continue embargoes even though they are only killing the poor.
– We won’t pay our United Nations dues.
– We are an isolationist nation because we are above all other countries.
– Because the Marshall Plan worked, we abandon that kind of thinking.
– We operate under the assumption that what we want is best for everyone.
Can we change our thinking?
