Helen Marie Meegan, nee Brady, 86, formerly of Chicago, died Sept. 27, 2001, beloved wife of the late Joseph B., who was the Executive Secretary of the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council, loving mother of Helen (Ronald) Bailitz, Michael (Mariann), David (Genevieve), Judith (Randall Judd) Meegan, Donna (George) Cook, Patricia (Robert) Wiet, Martha Meegan and the late Joseph and James Meegan; mother-in-law of Cynthia; fond grandmother of 25; great-grandmother of 14. She was a teacher for 17 years at St. Roses Day School for Developmentally Disabled Children. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside.
