– Organizers have also cancelled a display of military vehicles at the Riverside National Guard Armory. The Northern Illinois Chapter of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association show of vehicles from World War II and the conflicts in Korea and Vietnam was scheduled for Oct. 13. But the armory is on “alert” in response to the terrorist attacks and is not open to civilians.
