Nice article by Melissa Isaacson in the Sept. 27 Tribune. Unfortunately, Dick Jauron won by having the starting (and not the best) quarterback removed from the Minnesota game by an injury. I do not believe the Bears are winning games because of coaching. They will win games because of players making plays, and not the coaching staff.
If the best and most qualified players were all playing, you would see other changes on both sides of the ball. The fans can see this. The game announcers and other media types in town see this. Why can’t the coaches? It’s as if Dave Wannstedt were still here. Jauron’s a nice guy, but that’s as far as it goes.
