Thomas E. Stark, 38, of Bloomingdale, a gutter installer and a handyman, died Thursday, Sept. 27, in Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, from injuries suffered in a car crash. “He was the neighborhood handyman for all the elderly people who lived here,” said his mother, Elaine. Mr. Stark was born in St. Charles and graduated from Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream. He worked as a gutter installer for 20 years. He worked for Exterior Resources in Batavia. “If you asked him to do anything, he would do it for you,” said his sister Janice Prill. Other survivors include a daughter, Jessica; a brother, James; and five sisters, Linda Gruber, Nancy Shirley, Peggy Whitman, Mary and Laura. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Williams-Woodward Funeral Home, 820 Pine St., West Chicago. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Mass will follow at 11:15 a.m. in St. Isidore Catholic Church, 427 W. Army Trail Rd., Bloomingdale.
