Worth Star-Telegram noted that some executive recruiters use recommended height and weight standards when evaluating job candidates. Korn/Ferry International, a recruiting firm mentioned in the story, says it does not use such standards. Also, an anecdote quoting a Korn/Ferry recruiter came from an interview conducted in 1999 by the article’s writer, Sharon Voros, for a book Voros was writing. The timing of the interview was not mentioned in the article.
