A funeral Mass for Mr. Joseph P. Majka will be held Thursday, October 4, at 10 a.m., at St. Cyril Methodious Polish National Catholic Church in Chicago, with entombment in the All Saints Cemetery in Rosemont, IL. Visitation Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Pietryka-DeNicolo Funeral Home, in Chicago. Mr. Majka, age 89, passed away September 28, in Mountain Home, AR. He was born to Joseph and Sophia Majka, on September 22, 1912 in Chicago, IL. He married Rose C. Kolczak Majka in 1941, in Chicago. He was a carpenter and served in the US Air Force. He was a member of the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Mountain Home, AR, a member of the St. Cyril Methodious Polish National Catholic Church in Chicago, the Elks Club, the Woodcarver of America Club, the Ozark VFW Post #3246, the Polish Club and the American Social Club. Mr and Mrs Majka moved to Mountain Home in 1980 from Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Rose Majka, of the home; several nieces and nephew; and three sister-in-laws, Mary, Victoria and Sister Leatia. Arrangements are by the Roller Funeral Home.
