Edward J. Holt, 95, of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, formerly of Wheaton for over 45 years, beloved husband of Casey and the late Elsie; dear father of Dr. Richard B. (Shirley) Holt and Donald D. (Lolita) Holt; proud grandfather of Suzanne (John) Vasko, Douglas (Jane) Holt, Carolyn Holt, Eric (Rebecca) Holt, Lisa (Randall) Anderson, Bradley (Jody) Holt, Dawn (David) Lauber and Courtney (Hall) Crowder; greatgrandfather of 18; and brother of Edna Wallney and Stanley. Born on Jan. 3, 1906 in Chicago, Mr. Holt worked for Western Electric for over 40 years as a financial and manufacturing manager at the Hawthorne plant in Cicero and the plant in Montgomery, IL. He was a longtime member and leader at Cicero Bible Church, where he played the organ and piano, and directed the choir. He was also a member at Wheaton Bible Church. Visitation Sunday, Oct. 14, 3 to 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where Services will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Wheaton Cemetery.
