As a teenager, I’m not quite sure why our world has such horrible people in it. It leaves me with a blank feeling inside. Why does it take a nightmare such as the terrorist attacks to unite a country we call “the United States of America”?
As a country we have taken for granted what makes us unique–freedom. People who have just realized this should think twice before calling themselves a true American. It’s very sad that we, as a country, united together by our freedom to live, needed to be reminded of our privileges by the death of more than 6,000 people.
