Patriotism is seen a lot today.
You see people with flags on cars and on houses. There are signs around the United States saying “United We Stand” and “God Bless America” because of what has happened to our nation.
To me this shows a lot of love and support for our nation.
It shows that people really care about all of the people who were killed in the tragedy.
I feel that we are all being very strong during this difficult time. That is what being an American means to me. I think that our flag stands out from all of the others because we have 50 stars for all of our states and 13 stripes for our original Colonies. I believe that people are really dealing with this tragedy well by showing a flag.
It is a true sign of patriotism.
It shows that we are all proud to be Americans.
