This is a letter for the phony patriots. They know who they are. They are the ones who suddenly became patriotic after the Sept. 11 terrorist events were perpetrated on our country.
I’m weary of all the flag-waving, singing of “God Bless America” and all the other phony stuff most of these people didn’t do before Sept. 11.
Do the phonies want to be really patriotic?
Then they should start participating in the country they profess to love so much. Their voting record is deplorable for a free country such as ours. It’s been less than 50 percent for more years than I can remember. If they want to really be patriotic they should start voting in every local, county, state and federal election, and actually participate in this great country they wave the flag for.
