Given the many harsh attitudes toward teenage drivers, many people assume that these drivers are a constant hazard on the road. It is because of these assumptions that several people feel that the legal driving age should be changed. Raising the legal driving age is not a good idea because it would be age discrimination.

Although there may be statistics showing high numbers of accidents among teenagers, older drivers can also be considered a hazard. As people get older, their abilities deteriorate. If the driving age is raised, a limit should also be placed on it.
