I’m continually amazed at what the sanctimonious press feels is within its right to print. I call to your attention to “Projecting force: What we have, where we have it” (Perspective, Oct. 21). We are at war! I suppose that you folks would print a detailed explanation on how to make a nuclear missile if you thought that it would sell papers. I’ll bet you’d never find an article like that in a paper after Pearl Harbor, but then they had a different set of values back then.
