As long as parity is a fact of life in the National Football League and as long as good, clean effort is a positive in life, the 2001 Chicago Bears will legitimately compete for a spot in Super Bowl XXXVI.

Provided, of course, the team is not decimated by injuries and general meddler Jerry Angelo minds his own business . . . or maybe minds the business of the his apparently beloved Tampa Bay Bucs.
