Helen Mary Murphy, nee Sanders, age 85, former Park Forest resident, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2001 at Deerbrook Care Centre, wife of the late Edward H. Murphy (1973); beloved mother of Edward F., William R. (Denise) and James G. (Vicki) Murphy; grandmother of Damon Guertin and Amy Guertin Goncharoff (Kenneth); great-grandmother of McKenna Marie Guertin; sister of Frank J. (Philo) Sanders. She was an operator for Illinois Bell, who, in later years helped pioneer the “Baby Cuddler” program at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. Funeral Services for Helen Mary Murphy will be Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth.
