Come on, Rick Morrissey, let’s be fair. In Sunday’s column you really watered down the Illini victory over Ohio State because of a quarterback who didn’t play. I grant you the quarterback is the most important position on the team, but you never even mentioned the fact that Illinois was playing without its best running back, who was out of the game for a more legitimate reason. Let’s be fair.
The team that should be “watered down” is Michigan, which came away with another lucky win.
