I believe the University of Notre Dame made the correct decision in letting coach Bob Davie go.
The school needs to hire a high-profile coach who will be able to compete with powers like Florida, Miami, Florida State, Texas, etc.
This will be a huge challenge for the successor since the Fighting Irish academic standards are so high.
