Regarding Michael Holley’s Dec. 4 column on Mike Brown being the Bears’ first noteworthy safety: What about Gary Fencik and Doug Plank? Brown is becoming a good safety, but how can you forget those two?
They certainly defined the position better than anyone else to date.
