The Cubs’ latest attempt to bully the city into accepting their Wrigley expansion plan is laughable (“Cubs start to play hardball; Wrigley draws the curtain on nearby rooftops,” Metro, Dec. 6). Last time I checked, the City of Chicago (read: taxpayers) owned the city’s streets and sidewalks.

If Cubs’ management is really trying to reduce the issue into a fight between the rooftop owners and the team, they have seriously miscalculated the majority opinion of city residents on this issue.
