Families visiting the Chicago Botanic Garden’s Festival of Lights, Flowers and Music can check out the Waud Collection of miniature felt reproductions of characters from favorite children’s books, including Beatrix Potter’s “Tale of Jemima Puddle-duck,” plus “Peter Rabbit,” “Babar,” “Alice in Wonderland” and more. The exhibit is in the education building. The festival also features storytelling three times each day Thursdays through Sundays through Jan 6. 1000 Lake-Cook Rd., Glencoe.
